What is uss buffalo?

USS Buffalo (SSN-715) is a Los Angeles-class submarine of the United States Navy. The vessel was built by the General Dynamics Corporation, Electric Boat Division in Groton, Connecticut and commissioned in 1983.

The submarine is 360 feet long and has a beam of 33 feet. The vessel has a displacement of 6,000 tons submerged and can reach a top speed of over 25 knots.

During its service, USS Buffalo completed several missions around the world, including intelligence gathering, reconnaissance, and surveillance. The submarine also participated in joint military exercises with its allies and supported national security interests.

In 2018, USS Buffalo was deployed for a six-month mission to the Western Pacific, where it conducted operations with various partners in the region and enhanced maritime security.
